The spherical rotor pump applies the principle of universal couplings. Inside the circular pump casing, the spherical universal coupling installed on the drive shaft forms four continuous suction and discharge chambers when in operation. The liquid entering the spherical rotor is completed by the successive opening and contracting of these four chambers to convey the material.

 

The features of the spherical rotor pump: The circular pump casing and spherical rotor of the CAM pump have no contact or friction during operation, resulting in low noise, no leakage, energy saving, safety and reliability, and a long service life. It does not cause the trouble of gears, blades, etc., so the compression action appears gentle, with minimal flow shearing and stirring movement, and only requires minimal maintenance.

 

The application scope of spherical rotor pumps: CAM pumps are not only suitable for the transportation of general lubricating liquids, but also particularly suitable for the transportation of liquid materials with high temperatures, high viscosities, and containing particles, as well as for the transportation of flammable and explosive diluent solvents. They are ideal conveying equipment for industries such as chemical engineering, paint manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, oil refining, and food.
